We run creative writing workshops and retreats on the Wild Atlantic Way, drawing inspiration from the magnificent landscapes that surround us. We offer editing services, one to one mentoring and writing support to enable writers to hone their craft and give them the best possible chance of successful publication.

One-day creative writing workshops offering a mix of engaging writing exercises, class discussions and close readings - all designed to spark new poems and stories. Matthew Geden Matthew Geden is a poet, literary translator and Creative Writing facilitator based in Kinsale, County Cork. His recent publications include The Cloud Architect (Doire Press, 2022) and Ocean of Earth: Selected Poems of Guillaume Apollinaire (SurVision Books, 2024).In 2019 he was Writer in Residence at Nanjing Literature Centre in China and he was also Writer in Residence for Cork County Library and Arts Service from 2020-2023.

Isobel Creed has a degree in English Literature from the University of Cambridge and has worked as a literary agent for Jonathan Clowes Ltd, whose clients included Doris Lessing and Len Deighton. After moving to Cork, she worked as an editor at Mercier Press where she commissioned for their fiction list.  Following work as a freelancer for The Literary Consultancy in London, she set up her own company in Ireland, The Writers’ Consultancy.  As a freelance abridger she worked with the Waters Company abridging books for Book of the Week and Book at Bedtime on Radio 4 for ten years whilst working as a Research Communications Officer for the University of Brighton.
