An ekphrastic poem uses the description of a visual image as its subject, employing the technique as a way of examining ideas or summoning emotion through the narration of the story depicted by an image. In this workshop, led by poet Matthew Geden, you will examine a variety of images in your writing and discover the power of the visual to unlock your creative voice.
